Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 706, Glyndon, MD. Our Troop is sponsored by Sacred Heart Church. We accept boys of all faiths. Our goal is to help transition boys into young men of good character.
We have monthly camping trips — hiking, boating, kayaking, backpacking — plus summer camp and bi-annual high adventure camps such as SeaBase (Florida Keys) and Philmont (Cimarron, New Mexico).
Boy Scouts are open to boys between the ages of 10½ and 18. Prior Cub Scout membership is not required.
Note: If Baltimore County Schools are closed or afternoon activities are cancelled, Scout activities at Sacred Heart Glyndon are also cancelled. The Troop may move meetings to Christ The King.
