Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 706, Glyndon, MD. Our Troop is sponsored by Sacred Heart Church.
We accept boys of all faiths. Our goal is to help transition boys into young men of good character.
We have monthly camping trips (hiking, boating, kayaking, back packing, camping) plus summer camp with bi-annual high adventure camps such as SeaBase (Florida Keys) and Philmont (Cimmarron New Mexico). Meetings are held every Thursday at 6:30pm in the West Room. Boy Scouts are open to boys between the ages of 10 ½ and 18. Prior Cub Scout membership is NOT REQUIRED. Please note: If Baltimore County Schools are closed or afternoon activities cancelled, Scout activities at Sacred Heart Glyndon are cancelled. The Troop may move the meeting to Christ The King.
